Installation adds quick access to the app. Maps, current reports and submissions require an internet connection. Information is not stored for offline use.
iPhone or iPad
Open WildfireInfo in Safari. Tap Share, choose Add to Home Screen, then tap Add. Open the new WildfireInfo icon.
Android phone or tablet
Open WildfireInfo in Chrome. Open the browser menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen. Follow the browser instructions.
Computer
Open WildfireInfo in Chrome or Edge. If an install icon is available in the address bar, select it and confirm Install. Browser menus may also offer Install this page as an app.

Fire update notifications
Choose up to five fires for this device. Updates cover published perimeter and incident changes. Updates may be delayed; follow official emergency instructions.
On iPhone or iPad, install the app on your Home Screen and open its icon before enabling notifications.

Notifications continue until you turn them off here or in your device settings. Signing out does not turn off fire notifications. This does not subscribe you to SMS or email.
